Yoga is about relieving tension to come to a place of peace. Soothing physical postures, stretching and breathing exercises release a positive chain reaction throughout the body and mind.

Ultimately yoga can help us come to a place of alignment, body-mind awareness, acceptance of what we can and can’t control, and resolve to consciously affect the choices we make.

The quiet of yoga practice can free us from making uncompromising demands on ourselves through creating a pattern of mindfulness in our actions, as exhibited by the poses, one at a time. This leads to a renewed way of living with more energy and a greater sense of health, fitness and wellbeing.

Classes are open to all levels from beginners and include breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation and meditation. Yoga classes are a mix of Hatha (gentle and foundational yoga poses) and Vinyasa Flow style (dynamic poses with breath-synchronized movement as guidance) for 60 or 90 minute sessions – including relaxation. Move, stretch, strengthen and let go!

Yoga and Mindfulness for Performance

Improve your performance with yoga and enjoy the benefits that can be incorporated into your public speaking, drama, music or dance performance.

Join the ranks of many performers who attribute yoga to their success in the performing arts. 

Performers can work with us to learn how to incorporate yoga and mindfulness programs into their training to give them a more complete approach for reaching their potential.

We work with yoga and mindfulness specialists to provide programs for beginners through to elite performers. 

Energy Wellbeing are currently taking registrations for weekend ‘yoga for performance’ classes. Cost at $30 per class for 10 week block or $35 for casual class. All classes are run by experienced yoga and mindfulness teachers from Energy Wellbeing in yoga studios in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
